MOS PowerPoint 2003 Course

Course Aim:

The aim of the course is to give learners the skills required to pass the Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint qualification.

Entry Requirements:

Learners should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or Microsoft Word 2003.

Duration:

The duration of the course is up to 5 months. The duration is flexible as learners work at their own pace.

Delivery / Attendance:

Learners may complete the majority of the course using their own home or workplace PC. Alternatively learners may complete the course at EC-PC. During the course learners are required to work through a Microsoft approved training manual and complete online practice material until they have reached the required standard to sit the Microsoft Exam.

Course Days / Times:

Learners may attend learning and testing sessions, subject to availability, during the following days / times -


	Monday	09:30 - 13:00
	Wednesday	09:30 - 13:00
	Thursday	17:00 - 20:30
	Friday	09:30 - 13:00
	Saturday	09:30 - 13:00

We recommend that learners attend training sessions lasting about 2 hours, but sessions can be shorter or longer if preferred.

Instructor Support:

Instructor support is available to learners at our centre as and when required. Learners who wish to complete the course using their home or office PC will receive e-mail support (we aim to respond to e-mails within 48 hours).

Tests / Resits:

Learners will be required to attend test sessions at EC-PC. On-site testing may be available for corporate clients - please contact us for more information. Learners may resit a test free of charge. Further resits are available at an additional cost.

Test Results:

The test result will be given to the candidate at the end of the MOS exam. Learners are given the chance to attend further practice test sessions to revise problem areas, until they are ready to resit the exam.

Time Limit:

There is a 5 month time limit to complete the course. Learners may be given an extension, which will be subject to an additional cost. If a learner fails an exam they will receive a voucher from Microsoft which will allow a resit to take place within a given time limit, normally 4 weeks after the first attempt.
