| The aim of this introductory 1-to-1 course is to give learners the basic skills required to use the Internet to find and navigate websites. | ||||

| There are no entry requirements - the course is aimed at complete beginners. | ||||
| How long does the course last? | ||||
| If learners attend the course at our learning centre the course lasts 4.5 hours. If the course is taught at the learner’s home address within Aberdeen the course lasts 4 hours. | ||||
| Where does the course take place? | ||||
| The course can be taught at our learning centre or at the learner’s home address subject to location. | ||||
| How is the course taught? | ||||
| Learners receive 1-to-1 tuition on an hourly basis over a period of time, for example 1 hour a week for 4 weeks. | ||||
| Will learners receive course notes? | ||||
| Yes, learners will receive easy-to-follow course notes for future reference. | ||||
| Will learners receive a Certificate at the end of the course? | ||||
| Learners who successfully pass the course will receive a certificate from the Scottish Qualifications Authority. | ||||
| What will learners need to do to pass the course? | ||||
| During the course learners will be required to complete an assessment to demonstrate the following skills: | ||||
