| Microsoft Project Introduction | |||||||
This course introduces you to the fundamental concepts of Microsoft Project. Starting with a basic overview of Project Management, the course will teach you how to create a new project (Understanding time unit options, Project working time and working with Calendars). You will then be shown how to enter tasks, task durations, the relationships between tasks, and understand the constraints imposed upon tasks. The course then works through creating resources (People, Equipment and Materials), and then finishes off with some useful tips for printing. All of these topics are explained in detail and clearly outline the calculation methodologies behind them, allowing the user to gain confidence before developing their knowledge further. |

| Microsoft Project Intermediate | |||||||
This course is designed for users who have had some exposure to Microsoft Project and are reasonably comfortable with the concepts covered on the Microsoft Project Introduction course above. The course begins with a refresh of these topics to help close out any gaps in knowledge and understanding and then quickly moves on to key concepts in assigning resources (including assigning material resources). You will then learn how to manage a project, in particular how to resolve resourcing conflicts, understand the different costs types and how to monitor a project’s progress. |
